Caregiver Assignments
Assign specific staff members to a patient's dedicated care team. These assignments control where distress alerts route.
Exclusive Set Routing
Assigning specific caregivers to a patient activates Exclusive Set Routing. When this patient experiences a distress episode, alerts will be routed only to these assigned individuals — not the general facility staff.
If all assigned caregivers become inactive, alerts fall back to the org-wide pool and an operator is notified. See the clinical policy doc for the full fallback behavior.

Companion Directives
Guardrails for the AI companion. Each rule is a trigger → required response pair, injected at the highest priority of the companion's instructions — for example “when the patient mentions a painful topic → gently redirect to a happy memory.” Directives steer the conversation; they never let the companion invent facts. Editing requires primary-curator access.
