Settings

View only. Only the primary caregiver can change these settings.
Current local time: - (-)

A personal message shown below the time-of-day greeting. Avoid "Good morning" — the portal adds that automatically.
The name your loved one sees and hears on the kiosk. Defaults to "Clara" if blank.
PNG, JPG, GIF or WebP, up to 5 MB.

Experience Level

Choose how your loved one interacts with the kiosk. Each level adapts layout, button sizes, and content complexity.

Sundown Mode

Many people with memory difficulties experience increased confusion or anxiety in the late afternoon and evening. After the start hour, the kiosk shifts to a calmer, warmer experience — reduced content, softer tones, and grounding prompts.

Required. Used for sundown timing and the on-screen greeting.

Display & Session

When off, the kiosk ribbon shows only the time.

Caregiver Assignments

Assign specific staff members to a patient's dedicated care team. These assignments control where distress alerts route.

Exclusive Set Routing

Assigning specific caregivers to a patient activates Exclusive Set Routing. When this patient experiences a distress episode, alerts will be routed only to these assigned individuals — not the general facility staff.

If all assigned caregivers become inactive, alerts fall back to the org-wide pool and an operator is notified. See the clinical policy doc for the full fallback behavior.

New Assignment
Only active members of this facility appear in the caregiver list. Add new caregivers from the Team view first.

Frequently asked questions

Use Add New Memory in the sidebar to capture a photo, a story, or a voice note. You can also let amilune help with Draft with AI, then review the draft in the Vetting Queue before it reaches the companion.

Every AI-assisted draft is held for your review before the companion can use it. Vetting lets you confirm the details are accurate — this is how amilune keeps conversations grounded in real, approved memories.

Assigned caregivers receive an email alert when the companion detects sustained distress, and a daily summary of gentler moments. You can review any episode in the Help Desk and My Activity views.

Administrators can enroll a device under Devices, which generates a one-time code to pair the tablet. Once paired, the kiosk opens straight into your loved one's companion experience.

Care Notes

Shared notes for the whole care team — medications, dietary needs, mobility, routines. Mark a note Private to keep it visible only to you. Secure and strictly confidential. Never shared with the companion.

Companion Directives

Guardrails for the AI companion. Each rule is a triggerrequired response pair, injected at the highest priority of the companion's instructions — for example “when the patient mentions a painful topic → gently redirect to a happy memory.” Directives steer the conversation; they never let the companion invent facts. Editing requires primary-curator access.
